Review & QA checks
The QA panel scans every page for errors — then project checklists, comments and a formal sign-off get the chapter ready to ship.

The QA panel
The right rail groups Translation, QA check and Comments. The QA tab (Q) scans the current page live as you edit — every few hundred milliseconds, no button to press. The tab badge counts errors in red and warnings in amber, so a page’s health is visible at a glance.

What gets checked
Eleven checks cover translation and layout: untranslated and unverified blocks, blocks flagged for review, detected-language mismatches, missing glossary terms, text overflowing its block or its bubble, truncated vertical columns, fonts below the readability threshold, overlapping blocks, and blocks with no matching bubble.
Errors and warnings are filterable; info-level checks (small font, no bubble) are advisory hints rather than blockers.

Working through a page
Click an issue and the canvas selects the offending block and pans to it. Fix, and the list updates live. When the panel reads All clear, the page is clean for the selected language.
- 1Open the QA tab (Q) and filter to Errors first
- 2Click each issue — the canvas jumps to the block
- 3Fix text, size or position; the list refreshes live
- 4Clear the errors, then sweep the warnings
Layout checks are advisory — the delivery gate that matters runs server-side on verified blocks when a chapter moves to Delivered.

The project quality checklist
Beyond the automatic checks, every project can carry its own quality checklist — the human steps of your release process. Create items under Project → Quality check: “SFX typeset”, “Names match the glossary”, “Author notes translated”… whatever your pipeline needs, in your order.

Sign off a chapter
On the chapter overview, the quality card lists the checklist with a pass/fail toggle per item, next to the review comments. Work through it, add a note if needed, and sign off when everything is green — the chapter is marked as reviewed, with your name and the date.

Compare versions before approving
Not sure a restyle improved the page? Open Review → History and compare any two snapshots side by side — the differences stand out, so regressions jump out before you sign off.
