Style presets

Save a block’s look once — fonts, strokes, glow, warp — and apply or propagate it everywhere.

What a preset is

A preset captures the full visual identity of a block: font family and weight, text color and transform, line height and tracking, up to three stroke layers, shadows, background, glow, blur, gradient, and the raster deformations — warp, vibration, echo.

It deliberately excludes geometry, text content and size: a preset is a look, not a layout. Applying it performs a full visual swap — anything the preset does not define resets to neutral, so blocks never end up with leftover effects.

The presets drawer

Open it with P or the presets button in the tool bar. With a block selected, hovering a preset previews it live on the block; clicking applies it. With a multi-selection, one click restyles every selected block at once.

  1. 1Style one block until it looks right
  2. 2Open the presets drawer (P) and save the current style
  3. 3Select any other block — or twenty — and click the preset
  4. 4Detach a preset to restore the block’s previous style

Save, edit, detach

Saving snapshots the style under a name, with a summary of everything it carries. Presets are stored per user and follow you across projects. Blocks remember which preset shaped them — Detach restores the exact style they had before it was applied.

Propagate across pages

Changed your SFX style after thirty pages? Propagate pushes a preset across the chapter: every block it shaped, only the unmodified ones, or a manual selection. A preview counts linked, modified and unmodified blocks per page before you confirm.

Presets pair with batch style: use presets for identities (narration, SFX, thoughts) and batch style for one-off global tweaks.

The presets dashboard

The drawer is for using presets; the dashboard is for managing them. Open Presets from the sidebar to see every preset you own with a style preview and, for each one, how many blocks use it and where.

Open a preset to edit its full definition, browse the chapters and projects using it, or delete it — detached blocks keep their look.

Share across workspace & projects

A preset can be personal, shared with your whole workspace, or attached to specific projects — you choose the scope when saving and can change it later from the dashboard.

Shared presets appear for every member of the workspace, so a series keeps one narration style even with five typesetters at work.

Browse by group

Presets are gathered by what they style — narration, dialogue, SFX… The grouped view of the dashboard puts every preset of a family on one page, ready to compare or clean up.
